Reporting an Absence

If your child is absent from school, you must contact us to inform us of the reason for absence.  Parents/carers should message their child’s class teacher and Mrs Lloyd on Class Dojo, giving as much detail as possible.

Alternatively you can telephone the school office where you can either leave a message or ask to speak to Mrs Lloyd on 01922 710162 or send an email to postbox@elmore-green.walsall.sch.uk stating clearly the first and last name of your child and the reason for absence.

Please note, we have a set of guidelines for authorising absence. Informing us of the reason for absence does not guarantee any absence will be authorised.

Mrs Lloyd, or the school’s attendance consultant, Mrs Thompson may contact you to discuss your child’s absence further.
